    Rome adventures (I)

    October 24, 2014

Made it to Rome after a quick 1.5hr train-ride from Naples. Needless to say we were in awe with the amazing fusion of modern and ancient architectural wonders of this city. Rome is very walkable, and it helps that our hotel was so conveniently located near the Republica station. The first night, we took an easy stroll to the spanish steps. Well, seems like Rome is in “construction season”, as the fountain down the steps AND the Trevi fountain were under construction. Nonetheless, the view was gorgeous at the top of the stairs, especially in sunset.
